Top Tips to Liven Up Your Living Room!

As huge furniture fans we are always on the lookout for the coolest interiors. We’ve seen plenty of fantastic living rooms that we would love to have in our own homes (we’ve also seen some terrible ones too, some of which have even made us shudder slightly!). So we thought, why not share some of our favourites with you… Take a look at a few of the interiors that make us want to repaint our walls and throw out our current furniture. We say, “Out with the old, in with the new.”

So we might not all be lucky enough to live right by the sea, but we can keep our rooms light and airy by choosing the colour white! These sumptuous Charles Le Corbusier LC3 Sofas are brilliant for bringing sophistication to a home. Teamed with the Barcelona DayBed and Chairs, they make this room, look super cool.

You’ve got to be a little bit bold to bring animal print and bright reds into your home, but we think this room is ultra-sophisticated too! The Arco Lamp and striking red Ron Arad Little Albert Chairs look incredible next to the wooden floor and glossy scarlet walls.

Mix wood, with white leather, glass and metal and what do you get? A stunning, almost space-age living room that people are desperate to visit.

This Memphis-design living room is unbelievably lively, like a lot of 1980s design! We know that this furniture is not for the faint-hearted, but if you adore colours and crazy shapes then choose one piece to liven up your room.

This room is more traditional in style, but the pastels ensure that it remains modern. The checkered rug is a real statement piece that definitely draws the eye.

And so we return back to bold… We can’t get enough of these red cushions playing against the white leather sofa. Definitely a bachelor pad, we wish our men had a place like this – especially complete with a Isamu Noguchi Coffee Table!

Now this room is really homey. The RAR Rocking Chairs look really sleek, and balance very well against the wooden floor and large white sofa. We’d love to relax in this homely environment that is a lovely example of Scandinavian style design.

And so we end our post with another modern masterpiece! We love the bright flashes of colour mixed with the grey and white. The Patricia Urquiola Fjord Relax Chair is the definite stand-out piece, with its quirky shape. It just goes to show, that just one incredible piece can really lift a room!
