A triumph of design, the DAR Armchair was created over 60 years ago for the “Low Cost Furniture Design” Competition at the New York Museum of Modern Art. Charles Eames’s forward-thinking design was the first mass-produced one-piece plastic chair making it a consumer icon like many of the objects Andy Warhol depicted in his legendary Pop Art images.
